3 Minute Thesis Finals - 2017

The 3 Minute Thesis Competition gives students a chance to communicate their thesis in under 3 minutes with only one static PowerPoint slide. The Finals will take place on the 3 August from 5.30pm. Two winners will be chosen - one doctoral winner and one Masters winner! There are great prizes to be won!

The Doctoral winner will receive:

• $1000
• a trip to Brisbane, Australia from STA Travel to compete in the Asia-Pacific Final on 29 September
• a short course sponsored by Executive Education
• a Citizen Eco-Drive Watch valued at $1000
• a chance to compete in the 3MT U21 Grand Final Virtual competition
• various other exciting prizes

The Masters winner will receive:

• the chance to compete in the NZ 3MT Masters Inter-University Challenge on Thursday 24 August, hosted by Victoria University in Wellington
• a short course sponsored by Executive Education
• various other exciting prizes

There will also be free food, drinks and entertainment for everyone after the competition to celebrate. There will be spot prizes for the audience too (so please bring your ticket with you to be in the draw).
